half the leaders and twice the program

Quick blog while I wait for the rest to show up for breakfast.
Yesterday we took the winding 8 hour trip over the pass to Huancayo.  Everyone seems to have survived with out getting motion sickness or altitude sickness.  Our driver and translater, missionary Menina, has her record intact of never having anyone she drives get sick yet.  She took good care of us and prayed for us for a month before we left.  We went as high as 16000 ft at the top! It was an interesting and beautiful drive.  I heard the team that flew to the jungle and then drove for 4 hours over bumpy winding roads didn´t fair as well, getting motion sickness ¬ they were expecting us to have the trouble.
Today we jump into ministry with women and children at the same time doing separate programs.  Since splitting our team is down to 3 women plus a translator, maybe 2 if the pastor´s wife helps, and that means I will have about 35 kids mostly by myself for 2 hours while the other 2 work with the women.  Kathy Roeters was supposed to be with me but has been sent to another city to check out a possible site for the youth this summer.  It will help greatly if I have a translator.
Prayers are greatly appreciated. Please pray for Kathy as well since she will be separated from the team for the whole week, but is in the goods hands of a couple missionary women.
Also, please pray for the jungle team, for those who got motion sickness.  Also, their hotel was supposed to have AC but it doesn´t and it is HOT there.  They were trying to buy fans.
Blessings,
Sally
